The meeting Il tempo dell’aperitivo offers the public a reflection on the theme of the margin as a resource, starting with the work of Eugenio Tibaldi exhibited in his solo exhibition ET2020/24. The multidisciplinary talk will bring together leading figures from different fields: Eugenio Tibaldi, who will talk about his artistic path linked to marginal territories, Francesca Guerisoli, curator of the exhibition, and Alessandro Crociata, economist of culture, who will propose critical analyses and new perspectives.
Speeches will be given by journalists Iolanda Ferrara (Il Centro), Nino Germano (Rai3) and Oscar Buonamano (Pagina21.eu) and will be moderated by Licia Caprara, journalist and founder of the Festival dell’Educazione. The theme of the margin, often perceived as an excluded space, will be reinterpreted as an opportunity to observe reality. This approach offers an external and lateral look at contemporary phenomena, underlining how the margin can represent a resource rather than a negative condition. The debate will also touch on issues related to urban processes, the territory and its transformations, with a special focus on Pescara, where the Foundation is based.
A central moment of the meeting will be the presentation of the book Eugenio Tibaldi, ET2020/24, published by Cura.Books. The volume, which is at the same time catalogue, monograph and artist’s book, collects critical contributions by Francesca Guerisoli, Ivan Bargna, Giuseppe D’Anna, Marco Scotini and a rich iconographic apparatus, documenting Tibaldi’s artistic production of the last five years.
