On Saturday 12 October 2024, Fondazione La Rocca opens exceptionally in the evening hours to celebrate the finissage of Eugenio Tibaldi’s exhibition ET2020/24, which has been running since 5 July.
For the occasion, the exhibition space will be transformed into a movie theatre. The videos made by the artist in collaboration with the photographer and videomaker Lorenzo Morandi in connection with the site-specific projects Architectures of Isolation (2021), The Genesis of Marshy (2023) and Informal Inclusion – Tricalle (2024) will be screened. The works explore issues of isolation and informal inclusion through a look at marginal places and urban dynamics.
The evening will be accompanied by a talk with the director of Fondazione La Rocca, Francesca Guerisoli, curator of the exhibition, and the anthropologist Ivan Bargna, author of an essay in the ET2020/24 catalogue, published by CURA.Books, who will explore some of the central themes in Tibaldi’s work and its relationship with the contemporary context.
Admission free while places last.
