SILVIA CAMPORESI – ARTE, TECNOLOGIA, FINANZA
“There is a form of beauty even in the most unexpected things, in those subjects that do not seem to bear aesthetic values, because they are generated by the technique and assigned to a specific use, subject to specific rules.
This is the curious discovery of entering a huge workshop, watching the skilled employees at work and observing how light passes through the spaces and structures that fill them. On this journey through technological experimentation, I let myself be guided by interest and curiosity rather then knowledge. […] In this huge and noisy world, I see shapes, colours, lights, compositions. I put together the large with the small, the light with the shadows, the presences with the absences, harmonic forms with bright colours”.
In the transition energy era, the world looks for the solution in the hydrogen produced from water and in the electrification of manufacturing processes and mobility.
The keystone lies in the need to shorten the time in which solar energy becomes usable, but technological development in this direction does not seem to deal with production intensity and efficiency. The aim of this projects is to remember that technology is useful when it becomes art and finance realizes it and conveys it.
Through an inspired series of poetical images, Silvia Camporesi narrates what work is like inside the Parco Scientifico Tecnologico d’Abruzzo (Abruzzo Science and Technology Park) and Walter Tosto industries, investigating the forms, lights, spaces and structures that inhabit them. The result is a strongly evocative imagery built on an aesthetic vision of spaces.
The project is the outcome of Fondazione La Rocca’s collaboration with Walter Tosto industries, Parco Scientifico Tecnologico d’Abruzzo and Fineco.
